Ladder Barrel is unique pilates equipment for the core stabilization exercises. It is also a popular equipment for the strength exercises, as it provides a range of options for different kind of workouts. It is suitable for both beginners and also for the professional sportsmen with full conditions.
Barrel machine is designed for the core condition, flexibility and mobilization. The equipment consists of 2 main parts, where the name comes from: barrel and ladder. The design of the ladder barrel equipment comes from the original design of Joseph Pilates.
The design of this equipment comes from the beer barrels. Joseph Pilates, the creator of Pilates Sport, was beer drinker and his house always was full of empty beer barrels. Once he decided to use the empty beer barrels to make a pilates equipment.
In fact, result was successful. Therefore, J. Pilates started to use this new equipment for the pilates lessons. Thus, a new equipment came to pilates sport and became popular among the pilates fans very soon. It is especially popular in the group pilates classes.
The equipment comes in 2 separate pieces (Ladder and Barrel) for easy transportation. The barrel part is moving on the rails. Therefore it is easy to adjust it for the different lengths. All the body material is the heat treated wood, so it ensures the long life operation. The cover of the foam rubber is non allergic leather. Barrel part made of beech wood.

First Class Leather
Leather parts of the equipment are made of first class, antibacterial leather material.
Upper Level Springs
All springs are made of first class steel. 5 types of springs are used for the carriage.
Downloads
Our ladder barrels are made in UK and we ship our equipment from our London factory. The equipment comes in box and the customer is expected to install it using our user guide. You can download our user guide here along with the catalogue of our equipment.
