Our Pilates Reformer Equipment design based on Joseph Pilates‘ original works. In principle, the main idea behind the reformer machine is strengthening the body with the help of the springs. Actually a single pilates reformer machine facilitates indefinite number of exercise options with proper training.

In fact, todays pilates reformer machines are much more complicated and provide wider usage opportunities. We can use reformers for more than 500 exercises in lying, sitting, kneeling and standing positions.

Pilates Reformer is the most popular pilates equipment and almost every pilates studio uses this equipment. It consists of the platform, movable sliding section, springs with different hardness levels and the foot bar. Additionally, there is a shoulder support and the head rest on the platform.

Atro Pilates manufactures pilates reformers from high quality maple wood. Its eight-wheel system enables smooth motion. In the meantime, the machine is adjustable according to the height, weight and physical shape of the user.

Main Body

The main body of pilates reformer is made of high quality maple wood (Botanical Name: Acer Rubrum). North American Maple is a light-colored hardwood originating from North America. This fine-textured maple timber is highly shock resistant and sturdy.

We apply 4 layers of premium water based varnish to all wooden parts. The applied reliable, high-performance lacquer provides both durability and aesthetic appeal.

Springs

The pilates reformer comes with 5 levels of springs which are made of nickel coated Korean music wires. The springs are listed below from the lightest one to the hardest:

Blue spring. Resistance: 7.5 kg
Yellow spring. Resistance: 13 kg
Green spring. Resistance: 19 kg
Red spring. Resistance: 24 kg
Black spring. Resistance: 30 kg

The platform is moving on 8 wheels to ensure both the quiet and smooth movement. Each wheels contain a pair of 608-2RSR FAG brand sealed deep groove ball bearings. Lubricated high quality bearings provide a smooth and noiseless movement of carriage board during the exercises.

All our reformers come with sitting box, jump board, foot strap, pair of ropes, pair of straps and pair of handles.

Equipment is resistant to humidity thanks to the plastic pads under its legs and does not slip on the floor.

4-level football system enables exercise at different angles.
It has 3-level gear bar system that features lock for a safe work-out.
There is 3-level stopper on aluminum rail for height adjustment.

8-mm rope and moveable rollers reduce friction and enable joint angles to stay same during movements.

The holes on the carriage transfers residual rope under the equipment and ensures maximum comfort for the user.
